These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BALIA Consulting website and our advisory services. BALIA Consulting (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a consulting firm registered in Cameroon as an SARL. By using our website, booking a consultation, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Our services

BALIA Consulting provides advisory services in trade strategy, AfCFTA implementation, EUDR compliance, export readiness, trade intelligence, and related training and workshops. Descriptions on this website are general information only; the scope of any engagement is defined in a written proposal or agreement.

Advisory nature: not legal advice

Our services are advisory in nature. Nothing on this website or in our consultations constitutes legal, financial, or tax advice. Trade regulations, including the EU Deforestation Regulation and AfCFTA protocols, change frequently; verify critical compliance decisions with qualified legal counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.

Consultations and bookings

Consultations may be booked through our online scheduling page. A free introductory consultation, where offered, is for discussion purposes only and does not create a client engagement. Paid engagements begin only upon written agreement and, where applicable, receipt of payment.

Fees and payment

Fees are set out in the applicable proposal or agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are exclusive of taxes and payable within the period stated on the invoice.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of BALIA Consulting or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Materials delivered under an engagement may be used for the client’s internal purposes as defined in the engagement agreement.

Confidentiality

We treat client information shared during engagements as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without consent, except as required by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BALIA Consulting shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from an engagement shall not exceed the fees paid for that engagement.
